Program Associate
Job Description:
This newly-created position is an essential addition to our passionate and highly-skilled Program team. Refoundry’s 20-week paid high-level craft training program provides justice-involved people with the skills and opportunities to achieve financial independence and become leaders and job creators in our communities. The ideal candidate: a highly organized self-starter; detail-oriented; excellent interpersonal skills and EQ; a sincere interest in helping people returning home from incarceration achieve their full potential and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outreach and Recruitment
Conduct outreach to potential program participants and partners to increase program participation and impact.
Manage the recruitment process, including the development of marketing materials and the coordination of information sessions and interviews.
2. Peer Counseling
Establish individualized social service plans and support participants in achieving their goals.
Provide case management to program participants to help them overcome personal and educational barriers.
Manage, develop relationship with referral services partners to track and refer participants to social service referrals including mental health and housing.
3. Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to the program team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining program records.
Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other program-related materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, social work, or counseling (preferred but not required).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Passion for helping individuals with similar lived experiences.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Experience with conflict resolution.
Comfort working in fast-paced, start-up environment.
Experience developing partnerships.
Direct experience with our criminal justice system in any capacity, a plus.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 / year
